What your background should look likeActivitiesProvides hands‐on technical assistance and first line supervision of personnel for day‐to‐day activities; plans and coordinates work and activities of staff to include work assignments and work schedules with responsibility for implementing goals for technical operations, services or projects.Identifies issues and recommends feasible solutions regarding operations, services and/or personnel; provides EHS Manager input regarding annual performance evaluations.Manages a subset of EHS Section's responsibilities (e.G., hazardous waste management is a subset of Chemical/Biological Safety, electrical safety is a subset of Occupational Safety), often including University wide program(s), with accountability for the quantity and quality of the work (e.G., waste pickups) of assigned staff.Conducts and/or oversees inspections and University activities with responsibility to document results on daily, weekly, monthly, or otherwise scheduled routin...
