Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with customers and obtain technical information such as BOM, Gerber file, CRD file, AVL, etc.
- Compare BOMs and draft an ECN cover note after receipt of customer ECN.
- Provide training for new ECN coordinators and monitor their performance.
- Compare AVL changes from customer and draft ECN for system AVL update.
- Host ECN meetings within the workcell and coordinate ECN activities among other department staff.
- Verify that customer documents are attached to the ECN, logged on to DCC, and that ECN assembly revisions match the revision of the BOM.
- Initiate a detailed ECN change form (e.g., adds, deletes, changes) and monitor the implementation status of the running change within a workcell.
- Initiate FIA reports and coordinate FIA activities within the workcell if necessary.
