The Lac La Ronge Indian Band’s Education Department is accepting applications to fill a Full Time Permanent position located at Mikisiw Awasis Early Learning Centre based out of La Ronge, SK:

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR

The suitable candidates will be able to fulfill the following duties/responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and instruct Early Childhood Program Curriculum;

  • Ensure that the Early Childhood Program meets health and safety standards;

  • Maintain positive public relations with clients; Work effectively with the Education team;

  • Carry out health promotion programs, community education events and planning individual and/or group workshops for families with children age 0 – 6 years;

  • Work collaboratively with Daycare/Headstart staff in the implementation of Cree language and cultural programming for the children;
