Early Childhood Educator

Position Type: Full-time – 35 – 40hrs/week

Hourly Rate: Probationary Rate CA$, After Probation CA$ per hour + ECEWE – ECE licence ($4- $6)

The hourly wage for this position is currently ($ +ECEWE) per hour. Upon implementation of the collective agreement, the wage rate will increase to $ + ECEWE per hour during the probationary period and $ ECEWE per hour after successful completion of probation. Employees will also be entitled to retroactive pay as outlined in the collective agreement, subject to confirmation and receipt of applicable funding. The timing of these changes will be implemented in accordance with the collective agreement implementation schedule over the coming months.

*the ECEWE top-up from the Provincial Government is separate from your base wage as it is offered directly from the provincial government. If the ECE_WE program is cancelled or Fernwood NH is unable to participate, your total wage will be your base wage.
