Job Description

Job Title: Drywall Carrier

Location: Truro, NS

Work Type: Temp/Contract/On-call

Salary: $18.00/hr

What you'll do

  • Material Handling: Load and unload heavy drywall sheets manually or using carts, often performing two-person lifts for large or multi-sheet bundles (weights ranging from 80 to over 300 lbs)

  • Keep the work and yard areas clean, assist tradespeople if needed, and maintain delivery equipment.

    • What You’ll Bring 
  • Previous Drywall Carrying experience required
  • Physical Strength & Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and repetitively lift heavy loads for long periods
  • Teamwork: Ability to work closely with drivers and other laborer's to coordinate heavy carries
  • Reliability: Strong time management skills and a flexible attitude to meet demanding delivery schedules
