Job Description
Delivers orders to customers, represents the company to customers during deliveries and promotes quality of service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver goods to customers according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within the required service level agreements (SLAs).
- Load, unload, and handle shipments carefully to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery details and obtain customer signatures or proof of delivery (POD).
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate delivery status, delays, or exceptions to the operations team promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld devices.
