Job Description
About the role
You will act as a design engineer as part of a wider team to deliver complex infrastructure projects, proposal development, undertake business development initiatives and provide hands‑on designs using FLOW and AutoCAD. You will work with others in the team and other disciplines and may be asked to mentor and coach earlier career engineers and support the sector and client leads across the business. You will have a key role in project delivery and be expected to work under minimal guidance from senior team members to deliver designs.
Responsibilities
- Design complex drainage infrastructure projects (Sc104, Sc278, feasibility studies, strategies, flood risk assessments).
- Develop proposals and tender packages.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and support project management.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Support business development and client relationships.
