Job Description

Thompson Construction Group has immediate openings for Water and Sewer Dozer Operators supporting our Infrastructure division’s land development and subdivision projects in the Edmonton area.
Responsibilities:
Operate Dozer as it applies to ditching, sloping, support clean up in excavators and embankments, ripping, backfill etc. along with the ability to read grade stakes.

Conduct pre and post operation equipment inspections and fill out daily checklist.

Ensure a solid understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.

Participate in daily safety meetings and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Report all incidents, near misses, and equipment damage to site supervision.

Maintain effective communication with supervisors and crew members.

Work collaboratively as part of a construction crew to meet project timelines.
