Job Description
Working Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1pm to 6pm at St Elizabeth hospice in Ipswich
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness across the site.
- Maintain clinical cleaning across clinical areas of the hospice.
- Perform role in an unpredictable environment and must change activities at other’s request or on own initiative.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
- Time management skills to prioritise effectively.
- Communication between other teams within the organisation, clinical and non-clinical.
- Clean in clinical patient areas within the hospice.
- Clean communal areas, such as toilets, kitchens, corridors and offices.
- Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
- Wipe down and sanitise high contact areas and surfaces.
- Empty bins and replace bin bags of general and clinical waste.
