Job Description
Overview
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology at Tampere University invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher position in the Bioinspired Materials and Robotics group. The appointment is full-time for 3 years and based at Hervanta Campus. The role combines hands-on experimental work with modeling and simulation for a Horizon Europe project.
Responsibilities
- Design, model, fabricate, and test microfluidic sensor devices for a Horizon Europe project
- Contribute to both experimental tasks and computational/simulation work
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary research team and document results
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or related fields
- Experience in microfabrication
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics
- Programming experience
- Fluency in English
