Elmwood Village in Manurewa is looking for a fixed‑term Diversional Therapist to join their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the activities team.
- Work closely with the care team, residents and their families to create fun and varied activities programmes.
- Motivate residents to take part in activities while maintaining a safe environment.
- Build rapport with residents, staff and visitors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- National Certificate in Diversional Therapy or equivalent health of elders qualification.
- Excellent people skills with an ability to motivate others to participate in activities.
- Good computer and system management skills.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures to meet audit requirements.
- Full NZ Driver’s licence.
