About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Hauraki Thames Coromandel (HTC) District Nursing team primarily based in Thames at 0.6 FTE (48 hours a fortnight). District Nursing is a community nursing‑based service with a combination of home visiting and clinic‑based work. Services are provided 7 days a week from 0800‑1630, including after‑hours on‑call and call‑outs for palliative/end‑of‑life care when required.
A full, unrestricted New Zealand driver’s licence is essential. The role is predominantly community/patient home‑based and requires driving local and long distances daily and after hours. Physical demands include walking up stairs, carrying, kneeling and repeatedly getting in and out of a car.
