Distribution Line Mechanic — 33kV Overhead Power, On‑Call

Northpower is hiring a Distribution Line Mechanic in Whangārei for a full-time permanent role. Work Mon–Fri, 40 hours plus on-call/standby; minimum 30 hours weekly. Hourly rate $38–$42.50.

You will build, service and maintain overhead lines up to 33kV, install and replace poles, operate equipment, and document field work. Emphasis on teamwork and safety to meet performance targets. Requirements include EWRB Registration, a NZ Driver's Licence (Class 1 minimum), with Class 2 preferred.
