Job Description
Our client in London is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Disability Facilities Grant (DFG) Officer to join a well-structured and dynamic team. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time contracts, flexible working (including home working), a manageable caseload, and ongoing training to support your professional development. This is an initial 3–6 month contract, with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of Disability Facilities Grant applications from referral through to completion
Assess service users’ needs within their home environment in line with DFG legislation and guidance
Work closely with Occupational Therapists, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders
Provide advice on suitable adaptations to promote independence and accessibility
Oversee the approval process, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and budgets
Monitor progress of works, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard...
