Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to develop professional leadership skills across mental health nursing and influence the Trustwide nursing agenda during the 12 month fixed term period. The postholder will have a responsibility to contribute to ensuring our nurses are recruited, developed and supported to meet quality and safety standards for effective care. During this fixed term opportunity, the postholder will also have exposure to corporate functions and will take on a corporate portfolio further enhancing their professional growth.

As a Director of Nursing, building and developing relationships across professional roles and boundaries is also key. The ability to work with other senior leaders to influence and deliver high quality care equally supports the Trust's quality and safety agenda.
