Our client is a niche asset manager with a strong track record located in Zurich. Due to their expansion plans they are looking for a pragmatic, hands‑on Legal & Compliance Director to oversee its Legal & Compliance department.
Job Description
- Design and execute the legal and compliance strategy, maintaining controls, regulatory registers, incidents and remediation tracking.
- Lead AML & KYC across client and investor onboarding, including sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and escalation of suspicious activity.
- Ensure end‑to‑end regulatory compliance with Swiss FINMA requirements and coordinate governance funds including fund structuring.
- Act as a trusted legal and commercial advisor, drafting and negotiating, distribution and trading agreements, documentation and commercial contracts.
