Director Acquisition and Grants Office

Summary The position is located within the Acquisition and Grants Office, whose mission is to provide policy guidance and program support to NOAA components nationwide, supporting the broader strategic goals of the Department and NOAA. In this role, the incumbent is responsible for providing guidance and staff support to NOAA management in the areas of acquisition and financial assistance. The position reports directly to the Deputy Under Secretary for Operations. Responsibilities The incumbent provides guidance and staff support to NOAA management in the areas of acquisition and financial assistance. Specifically, the incumbent provides direction and supervision to the organizations within the Acquisition and Grants Office and provides policy to NOAA management and subordinate organizations in the areas of acquisition and financial assistance.
