*Purpose of this position: *The Diabetes Educator -Dietitian provides culturally sensitive education and consultation to patients, families and staff, as well as the professional and lay community. This includes information on nutrition, treatments, equipment operating, coping with a chronic illness and other related topics. The Diabetes Educator-Dietitian participates in team activities, staff education, professional organizations and other projects as assigned.
