Job Description
Introduction
Our client requires the skills of an Adabas/Natural Developer.
POSITION: Contract role for 6-12 months (option to extend).
COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible.
Duties & Responsibilities
THE ROLE:
- Development and Production support for applications using NATURAL ADABAS and CONSTRUCT.
- Interaction with business analysts and end-users to resolve discrepancies.
- Responsible for changes to ADABAS files, user views.
- Ability to understand business requirements, translate into solutions/applications and document solutions.
- Ability to communicate with users and develop relationships that will build confidence and trust.
- Ability to work in a team environment, share ideas and collaborate to build solutions.
- Advises management on best practices and design of new enhancements.
