Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Despatch Manager to join our talented team based in the Hawkes Bay thriving in a culture of openness, trust, and mutual respect.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee day-to-day transport operations for the Hawkes Bay region to ensure delivery and pick-up schedules are met.
- Organise site operations to align with transport and line haul schedules.
- Maintain security measures, including vehicle seals, to protect products and assets.
- Promote efficiency, safety, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (H&S, driver fatigue, loading limits).
- Monitor and ensure accurate freight billing and customer standards.
- Conduct regular compliance and security audits, investigating and resolving breaches.
- Coordinate team performance to achieve customer KPIs and internal operational targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational audits.
