Step into the role of Desktop Support Specialist with Houle in Burnaby. Act as the first line of IT support and deliver exceptional technical assistance to our dedicated staff.
In this role, you will join our Corporate IT team while leveraging your 3+ years of experience in a technical help desk environment. Your responsibilities will include managing Help Desk tickets, setting up corporate equipment, training personnel on new technologies, and maintaining our IT equipment inventory. The position requires a problem-solving mindset and excellent communication, ensuring all staff receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver technical assistance to employees through phone and email
• Manage Help Desk tickets in an organized manner
• Set up and configure workstations and printers
• Develop knowledge base for internal documentation
• Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding processes
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in a technical support role
