Job Overview
The Designer is responsible for the design and 2D/3D modeling of parts and assemblies, conducts analyses, and resolves production‑related issues. The role includes creating 2D drawings from 3D models, ensuring compliance with client or SOGECLAIR engineering drawing standards, and supporting production and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop parts and assemblies in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards
- Modify existing designs or create 3D models of parts and assemblies
- Develop and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for components and assemblies
- Revise and incorporate changes into technical drawings
- Standardize 3D models and engineering drawings according to customer and industry standards
