SUMMARY

As part of the National Design team with Doman Building Solutions for Engineered Wood Products (EWP) Services, the EWP Designer/Estimator prepares take‑off designs of engineered floor and roof systems for our customers. Products include beams, joists, columns, connectors, adhesives, rim boards, and sheathing.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

• Prepares professional floor design drawings, quotes, and material lists using proprietary design software.
• Consults with roof truss plants, lumber dealers, architects, engineers or builders regarding project plans and design issues or specifications as required.
• Maintains project files with pertinent information and maintains/updates the design department's job tracking system as needed.
