Design Engineer (Mechanical)

The impact you’ll have

Drive end-to-end tooling design, from concept through to production-ready precision
Design multi-cavity injection moulds and complex metal press tools that optimise cycle time and manufacturability
Lead the development of progression dies, including strip layouts and forming strategies
Apply simulation and DFM methodologies to eliminate risk before it reaches the toolroom
Act as the critical link between design and manufacturing, resolving real-time challenges during tool build
Influence the full lifecycle of tooling, from T1 trials to continuous improvement and redesign
