Design Engineer (Mechanical)

The impact you’ll have

• Drive end-to-end tooling design, from concept through to production-ready precision
• Design multi-cavity injection moulds and complex metal press tools that optimise cycle time and manufacturability
• Lead the development of progression dies, including strip layouts and forming strategies
• Apply simulation and DFM methodologies to eliminate risk before it reaches the toolroom
• Act as the critical link between design and manufacturing, resolving real-time challenges during tool build
• Influence the full lifecycle of tooling, from T1 trials to continuous improvement and redesign
