Design Engineer in Wellington

Design Engineer – Gonzalez Companies, LLC is a partner‑managed firm providing comprehensive planning, design, and construction management services to Water, Sewer & Utility Districts, Departments of Transportation, and municipalities. We are seeking a Design Engineer who will develop technical designs, lead multidisciplinary teams, and actively participate in project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs, plans, and specifications for infrastructure, site development, water/wastewater, and building systems projects.
• Perform technical analyses, calculations, and modeling (hydraulic modeling, grading/drainage, mechanical/electrical sizing) to support design decisions.
• Prepare construction drawings and documents using CAD/BIM software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit).
• Coordinate design efforts with multidisciplinary teams—including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers.
