Design Engineer II

Work Model: You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday–Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Able to understand overall SLD of the plant & scope of design. Should be able to read & interpret customer specification & technical data correctly. • Extensive knowledge in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Mechanical 2D/3D packages. Modelling of switchgear assemblies, bus bar, enclosures, cabling & accessories. • Experience in design of Automatic transfer switches, low and medium voltage switch gear design • Extensive knowledge of temperature rise in switch gear (Bus bar / Enclosure) • Knowledge of medium and low voltage circuit breakers, MCCB’s, Power contactors and disconnect switch design. • Extensive knowledge in derating the breakers in the switchgears and designing various NEMA enclosures. • Knowledge and experience in lea...
