Job Description
Township of Lanark Highlands is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly organized professional to join our team as Deputy Clerk in a full‑time, permanent position. Reporting to the Clerk, the Deputy Clerk provides legislative, administrative, and organizational support to the Clerk and the broader municipal team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Council and Committee administration.
- Manage records and information.
- Coordinate policy and procedural matters.
- Oversee municipal elections.
- Administer by‑laws.
- Conduct research and special projects.
- Respond to public inquiries.
- Support across departments in a dynamic rural municipal environment where teamwork, adaptability and strong customer service are essential.
