**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As the Dpeartment of Medicine Chair at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will lead the organization, oversight, and delivery of clinical care in the Divisions of Cardiology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Physical Medicine, Pulmonology and Rheumatology in an extensive integrated healthcare system and a robust referral network spanning Western Washington.

Every day you will be responsible for establishing the Department’s vision, objectives, and initiatives in accordance with the health system’s overarching strategy. This individual will advocate for departmental requirements while ensuring congruence with the broader strategic priorities of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH).
