Requirements
- Appropriate qualification that allows registration as a Dental Therapist with the Health Professional Council of South Africa in the category of independent practice.
- Current registration with the HPCSA as a Dental Therapist.
- Less than 10 years clinical experience as an independent Dental therapist.
- Valid driver’s license (manual and automatic).
- Ability to perform under pressure to improve service delivery.
Duties
- Perform clinical functions as stipulated in the HPCSA Scope of Practice for Dental Therapists.
- Provide service delivery to patients in the Ekurhuleni Health District and other sites such as the correctional services, dental mobile and any other tasks assigned by the Clinical Manager.
