Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to safely load, unload and move products in an efficient manner and in the customer's best interest.
- Communicates with customers via phone to schedule deliveries and delivers the merchandise with care.
- May use the Ace delivery smartphone application to facilitate the delivery process.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety inspections on all equipment and follow up with any deficits with the Store Manager.
- Communicate with the store management as needed and follow instructions as required including but not limited to: change in route, special requests and/or equipment problems.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to our customers, and co-workers.
- Maintain a clean working environment while keeping the vehicle free from debris.
- Maintain knowledge of geography and demographics of the assigned area as well as contact persons at each store location.
