Job Description

Role Overview

The Defect Triage Manager is responsible for coordinating and governing the defect management process across a large, multi-stream financial services testing program. Reporting to the Test Director as part of the central Testing Office, the role ensures defects are effectively triaged, prioritized, and resolved across concurrent testing workstreams, environments, and releases.

The Defect Triage Manager facilitates structured triage with workstream Test Managers, delivery teams, and client stakeholders, ensuring clear prioritization, defect data quality, and rapid root cause identification. The role also provides program-level visibility into defect trends, risks, and resolution progress.
