About The Role
The mandate of the Default Recovery Specialist hybrid role is to mitigate and/or eliminate financial losses due to delinquent or unpaid balances of all mortgage products offered by Home Trust. This position operates independently, setting priorities and scheduling its own work in accordance with established policies and procedures, requiring little interpretation from Management. The specialist is individually responsible for managing a portfolio of impaired accounts located nationwide, continually following up with solicitors, property managers, and real‑estate agents, as well as educating mortgagors on both financial and legal repercussions of delinquent accounts. The role must achieve targets as set by Management, both individually and as part of a team.
