DCEO Chief Engineer, Data Center Engineering Operations

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The Data Center Engineering Operations team maintains the critical physical infrastructure that supports our data centers, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems operate at 100% availability while delivering first‑class customer service to internal teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Train and support the engineering team in electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operations.
• Implement and execute site- or equipment‑specific training exercises, including generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, AHUs, chillers, etc.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment at data center sites.
• Operate independently with limited direct management.
