Job Title: Database Administrator

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Introduction


We are seeking an experienced professional to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of mission-critical Oracle databases, and to manage and optimize Amazon RDS (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MSSQL) and Amazon Redshift clusters with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.


Required Skills & Qualifications



  • 4–7 years as an Oracle DBA with 3 years on AWS data services.

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon RDS (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MSSQL) and Amazon Redshift administration.

  • Expertise in monitoring (CloudWatch, Performance Insights), performance tuning, and cost optimization.

  • At least one certification in Oracle (OCP) and one in AWS.

  • Proficiency with AWS CDK (TypeScript or Python), CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
