Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer to join our expanding Data Centers (DC) Cloud regions. This hands‑on role focuses on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation, ensuring the availability and reliability of AWS data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain the highest safety standards, encouraging a world‑class safety culture and remediating safety risks in collaboration with other teams.
• Support and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment including UPSs, switchgear, circuit breakers, automatic transfer switches (ATSs), diesel generators, chillers, HVAC, exhaust fans, VFDs, and transformers.
• Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical emergency generators, HVAC, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack‑level events within internal SLAs.
