Elevate research and public engagement as the Curator of Insects and Arachnids at the Royal Ontario Museum. You will steward a globally significant collection while advancing knowledge and exhibits in this vital field.
As a member of ROM's esteemed Department of Natural History, you will lead innovative collections-based research and engage diverse audiences in understanding the role of insects and arachnids in our ecosystem. Your passion will help build meaningful partnerships with universities and communities while contributing to ROM’s mission of increasing public relevance and scientific impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic growth of the Insects & Arachnids collection
• Conduct and publish original research in relevant disciplines
• Develop engaging exhibitions and public programs
• Collaborate across curatorial and education teams
• Mentor students, interns, and volunteers
