Preventative Maintenance Specialist
Location: Facility Services
Term position: August 4, 2026 to July 16, 2027 with possibility of extension
40 hours weekly, paid on the Specialist grid
Red Deer Public Schools is seeking a skilled and motivated Preventative Maintenance Specialist to join our Facility Services team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our schools and Division facilities remain safe, efficient, and well‑maintained through scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and minor repairs.
Working collaboratively with the HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and General Maintenance teams, the successful candidate will help maximize the life of building systems, identify maintenance concerns before failures occur, and support the ongoing operation of Division facilities.
