Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment. This role ensures high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation safety protocols. The CT Technologist collaborates with radiologists, physicians, and the healthcare team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CT imaging equipment to perform diagnostic scans according to physician orders. Position patients accurately to ensure optimal imaging results while minimizing radiation exposure. Review images for quality and clarity, and escalate any concerns to radiologists as needed. Maintain patient records, documenting procedures, observations, and any adverse events.
