Criminal Defense Junior Lawyer — Mentorship & Training

The Public Defence Service within the NZ Ministry of Justice in Hawke’s Bay invites applications for a Junior Criminal Defence Lawyer. You will join a supportive team, handle a varied caseload with guidance, including trials and court appearances, and develop your career in criminal advocacy.

To succeed you must be admitted to the NZ Bar (or be within two months of admission), enjoy teamwork, and be passionate about justice.
