Credit Controller

Overview

Responsible for managing the bakery's credit control function, overseeing the collection of outstanding debts, managing relationships with customers, and ensuring cash flow remains healthy. The role includes monitoring and enforcing credit policies, reducing bad debts, and ensuring all payments are made within agreed terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the bakery's credit control function and monitor cash flow.
• GL maintenance: assist with month-end general ledger reconciliations; ensure accuracy and completeness of GL entries; review GL to verify correct postings; prepare and request manual journals under the guidance of the accountant.
• Journal Entries: ensure entries are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies; prepare and request manual journals under the guidance of the accountant.
