The role

Cover Supervisors are suitably trained school staff who supervise pupils carrying out pre-prepared classes when teaching staff are on short-term absence.  The Cover Supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set.  

The role would be perfect for anyone looking to gain experience before applying for a teaching qualification. Full time and part time supply opportunities available.

You will be confident and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of young people and fellow colleagues.

Requirements

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor position, you will:

Have experience working with young people
Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed tea...
