# About you:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Professional qualification in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy or equivalent).
2. Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with Health Care & Professions Council (HCPC) and post-qualification clinical experience, working under supervision.
3. Experience of academic teaching and mentoring of PhD/DClinPsy students, contributing to the training of postdoctoral clinical psychologists.
4. Ability to contribute to the department through clinical teaching and research excellence.
5. Ability to supervise high quality DClinPsy/PhD research dissertations to completion **Desirable criteria** 1. PhD in topic relevant to Clinical Psychology
2. Ability to produce internationally excellent scientific outputs.
