Job Description
Job Summary
The senior counsel position will report to the Corewell Health VP & Deputy General Counsel and work closely with other senior legal leaders, including Corewell Health’s Chief Legal Officer, Corewell Health’s SVP & General Counsel and Priority Health’s SVP & General Counsel, and will provide key legal and strategic advice and support on complex and routine corporate matters and transactions involving the enterprise, care delivery system, and health plan.
Essential Functions
+ Serve as a strategic and legal advisor to senior leaders on a wide range of complex corporate transactions, including transaction design, negotiation, drafting documents and implementation. This will include, but is not limited to, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic affiliations, clinical integration arrangements, and provider or health plan transactions.
