Corporate Commercial Lawyer (Edmonton)

On behalf of our client, a large downtown law firm, we are recruiting an Associate to join the corporate commercial department. The firm has an excellent reputation for client‑focused service, a good culture, and a file load for you to take on. Those who wish to develop their own client base will have a higher bonus structure. The position is in‑office with the option of remote work on occasion.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Provide legal advice on business law matters
• Support clients with incorporations, reorganizations, and transactions
• Build and maintain solid client relationships

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of corporate commercial law experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage files independently
