Coordinator, Retail Program

The Parliamentary Boutique is a fast-paced high profile retail environment that serves parliamentarians, senior officials and a broad range of visitors that is open 7 days a week, almost year-round, achieving a significant volume of sales to parliamentarians and visitors from across the country and around the world.

The services of the Coordinator are required to plan, coordinate and monitor the activities of the Boutique. Reporting to the Retail Program Manager, the incumbent will ensure the smooth operation of the Boutique, with an emphasis on purchasing and inventory management.

Essential Tasks

• Organize purchasing efforts, which includes, among other things, analysing supply, following up on customer suggestions, requests for quotes, preparing purchase orders, optimizing replenishment efforts, as well as researching new suppliers and making recommendations for new product development.
