About the position
The Coordinator Procurement and Contracts is a permanent full-time position responsible for maintaining currency of and compliance with Council’s Procurement Policies and Framework. The Coordinator Procurement and Contracts implements procurement training for the organisation, provides advice and guidance to staff on procurement planning, sourcing and managing contracts in line with Council policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Council's Procurement Policy Framework and associated procedures ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and best practice.
- Provide strategic advice and information on procurement planning, sourcing strategies and contract management matters
- Coordinate Council's Tendering activities ensuring compliance with policies and legislative requirements
