With a commitment to patient‑and family‑centered care, the professional nurse uses the nursing process in ways that value the uniqueness of each individual and address the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of the diversity of patients served by Jefferson Health. Assists in leading the daily operations of a specific unit, acts as a resource and leader, and serves as a clinical role model for the patient care team. Advances and oversees patient‑care standards of the unit for the designated shift. Facilitates and coordinates patient‑care delivery and flow through the continuum of care. Supports nursing professional development, Magnet, and Shared Governance through participation in councils and the Clinical Ladder program.
