Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist the head cook or chef in preparing meals according to recipes and standards
- Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, peeling, and marinating ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Properly store food items to prevent spoilage and contamination
- Assist in receiving and checking food supplies and inventory
- Dispose of waste correctly and keep the kitchen environment safe
- Support chefs during peak service periods
- Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and work as part of a team
- Experience in cooking
- Any Bachelor's Degree can apply
