Cook / Chef

Bensonhurst Center (Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility) is looking for a Cook/Chef to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a self‑starter, punctual, and engaged.

• Follow recipes and prepare dishes
• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking
• Weigh and measure ingredients
• Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, and slice meat and vegetables
• Perform basic cooking functions such as preparing sauces, soups, and stocks
• Label stock and inventory all ingredients
• Maintain temperature logs on a daily basis
  

• Ability to communicate and listen to team members
• Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal
• Experience as Cook/Chef for a minimum of 3 years
